Who we are

PLSL Return Helper is made by DD Lab, an independent developer (not a registered company). Contact: support@plslhelper.com. We are not affiliated with Xero, MYOB, Reckon or any long service leave authority.

What the tool does, and what it doesn't

The tool reads payroll reports you export, applies the reporting rules you choose for a scheme, and fills in the return spreadsheet you exported from that scheme's portal. It organises your data; it is not legal, tax or payroll advice. The rule summaries in the tool and on this site are our plain-English reading of each scheme's published guidance and can fall behind changes. You remain responsible for checking the figures, the treatment of each pay item and the scheme's current rules before you lodge a return.

Free use

The tool is free for returns with up to 5 workers, for every scheme it supports.

Trial keys

A trial key is free and removes the worker limit until the expiry date shown in the tool, normally the end of the next return period. We issue one trial per business and may decline or end a trial that is being misused.

Paid keys

A paid key removes the worker limit for 12 months, until the expiry date shown in the tool. Current prices are on the pricing page; the price you pay is the one shown when you buy. Keys don't renew automatically. A business means one employing entity (one ABN). A one-business key is for that business's own returns. A bookkeeper or group key covers up to the number of businesses in its plan, whether they are a bookkeeper's or accountant's clients or the buyer's own related entities; each business counts once per 12 months. If you need more businesses during the year, you pay the difference to the next plan. If our list prices go up, customers who renew keep the list price they were on, but introductory discounts apply only to the year they are given. Please don't publish or share keys outside your business.

Refunds

If you're not happy, email us within 14 days of the key being issued and we'll refund you in full, no questions asked. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that applies to you.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the tool is provided as it is, and we are not liable for levies, interest, penalties, late fees or any other loss arising from a return prepared with it. Where a law gives you guarantees that can't be excluded, our liability is limited, where the law allows, to supplying the service again or refunding what you paid.

Our software and third-party software

The tool's own code is © DD Lab. It includes SheetJS Community Edition (xlsx.js, © SheetJS LLC), used under the Apache License 2.0; its copyright notice is kept in the tool's file.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes don't affect a key you have already paid for.
